The Commission hereby sets the instant Application for hearing for the determination of compliance with the jurisdictional requirements, expository presentation, Pre-trial Conference, and presentation of evidence on 28 March 2025 (Friday) at nine o’clock in the morning (09:00 A.M.) held at CEBECO II Main Office Multi Purpose Hall @ Malingin, Bogo City, Cebu, via MS Teams Application as the online platforms for the conduct thereof, pursuant to Resolution No. 09, Series 0f 20201 and Resolution No. 01, Series of 2021 (ERC Revised Rules of Practice and Procedure)
Pursuant to the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) Notice of Resolution dated 05 September 2023, the ERC resolved to GRANT INTERIM RELIEF on the National Power Corporation′s (NPC) Petition to collect the Universal Charge - Missionary Electrification (UC-ME).
In accordance with the said ERC Notice of Resolution, all Collecting Entities (CEs) are hereby directed to collect from its consumers the approved UC-ME Basic rate amounting to PhP0.1805/kWh, starting the next billing period from receipt of PSALM′s letter for Calendar Year 2023 or until directed otherwise by the Commission.
The total UCME Rate has increased by Phh0.0261/kWh, from Php0.2233/kWh to Php0.2494/kWh.
